The modern farming &forestry service trade and logistics business involves gardening, horticulture, flowers, tea, etc. The company has built a “Chinese Bonsai Arts Culture Village” in Zhujiajiao, Qingpu area, Shanghai. The village covers an area of 500 mu (1 mu≈1/15 hectare) and has become a tourist destination and a trading center for grand trees, wonder stones and bonsai. Simultaneously, the company commits to build two projects in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, i.e. Hangzhou Flowers Market and China Green Tea Primary Market. It also has become a pilot unit of China Chamber of Commerce of Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce & Animal By-Products (CCCFNA). It is editing and publishing International Tea Information magazine—a bimonthly publication— and releases regularly the China Tea Index which has been approved and adopted by CCCFNA Bulk Produce Import &Export Information website. ZIMO Group will be the undertaker of the 2011 International Tea Conference holding in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.
Shanghai ZIMO Educational Training School focuses on international Chinese and has developed a ZIMO anime-based course for international Chinese teaching that applied the multimedia network technique to construct a ZIMO international Chinese distance teaching and learning platform. By the same token, the company provides stand-alone (disc) course which teaches non native Chinese speakers through online or offline methods, coaches for The Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) and trains Chinese language teaching faculties (issue qualification through tests). It is an innovative Chinese teaching and learning software system featuring self-owned intellectual property rights and multimedia network technique and was set a high value on by expertise and scholars from various universities like Beijing Language and Culture University, Beijing International Studies University, East China Normal University, Fudan University, Macao Polytechnic Institute in a conference organized by China Chinese Language Historical Society. Moreover, supported by Shanghai Creative Industry Association, ZIMO International Chinese Language Teaching System was introduced successfully in the Shanghai EXPO 2010 as a creative and innovative product and would be gifted to VIP visitors by the Theme Pavilions. ZIMO Education involves educational training of English, Japanese and other occupational skills and boasts a 10000 square meters ZIMO World Village near the financial zone of Lujiazui, Pudong area, Shanghai and a 1000 square meters teaching and training center in People’s Square Business District, Puxi.
The company is set to initiate business in culture communication sector and will be engaged in film and drama making, eyeing to foster a joint venture with oversea investors to spread quintessential Chinese culture internationally.
